As some of you know I am a big fan of animals. I have to be, my wife works at Petsmarts and we have a 9 animal family, two dogs, two cats, 3 birds, 2 chinchillas and one 55 gallon fish tank. I like Pets & Pals its an animal shelter ran by a network of volunteers and its located in Lathrop. Pets & Pals has been serving Central California for over ten years .While the shelter houses mostly dogs and cats, it also has been instrumental in finding appropriate homes for horses, mules, rabbits, pigs, birds, and a variety of others. The shelter is a non-profit organization which receives no government funding of any kind at any level. It operates strictly on private donations. They have many dogs and cats for adoption and they have a updated list of "guests" on-line with pictures and description. If you are considering getting a pet adopting is the way to go. Check out the many different dogs and cats they have listed on there webpage to adopt.
